Ingredients:
8 slices bread
2 potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
1 onion,chopped
1 tbsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp jeera(cumin seeds)
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1-2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Oil to fry.
Method:
Heat some oil in a pan, add jeera.
Once it splutters add onions and saute till transparent.
Add ginger paste, green chillies.
Mix well and add mashed potatoes and some salt.
Mix well and remove from heat.
Dip a slice of bread in some water, gently press between the palms to squeeze out the water. Put a spoonful of filling in the centre of the slice and roll it tightly into oval kind of shape. Prepare all the rolls in a similar way.
Heat oil in a kadhai(wok) and deep fry these rolls one by one.
